Terms of Sale

Last updated: 16 October 2026

These Terms of Sale govern purchases made through the loot.ww website between Loot.ww and its customers. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms of Sale.

2. Scope

These Terms of Sale apply to orders placed through the loot.ww website. The version applicable to an order is the version in force when the order is placed. Any updates will apply to future orders.

3. Products

loot.ww offers curated fashion pieces, including vintage, pre-owned and archival clothing, footwear and accessories. Many items are unique or available in a single quantity.

Product descriptions and photographs are intended to accurately represent each item. Vintage and pre-owned items may show signs of age, wear or distress. Relevant condition details and material imperfections will be described or shown in the product listing.

The vintage or pre-owned nature of an item does not exclude the customer's statutory rights relating to faulty or non-conforming goods.

4. Prices

Prices are displayed in euros (EUR). Applicable taxes and shipping costs are indicated before the customer confirms the order and proceeds to payment.

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout where applicable. Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise stated.

5. Orders

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their order details and delivery information are accurate.

An order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and an order confirmation has been issued.

loot.ww reserves the right to contact the customer or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason, including suspected fraud, payment failure or a manifest pricing error. Any payment received for a cancelled order will be refunded.

6. Payment

Payment is due in full when the order is placed. Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

Payments are processed through the payment providers available on the website. loot.ww does not store customers' complete payment card details on its own systems.

7. Delivery

Orders are shipped from France and are usually processed and dispatched within 3 business days of purchase.

Shipping rates, available destinations and delivery information are displayed on the website or at checkout. Tracking information will be provided by email once the order has been dispatched, where available.

Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and carrier. If no delivery date or timeframe has been agreed, delivery will take place within the period required by applicable law.

For consumer orders, the risk of loss or damage remains with loot.ww until the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods, except where the customer independently appoints a carrier not offered by loot.ww.

Further information is available in the Shipping & Returns policy.

8. Right of Withdrawal

For online purchases covered by French and applicable European consumer law, customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, customers must notify loot.ww within the applicable period by contacting hello@loot-ww.com.

Customers must return the goods within 14 calendar days of notifying Loot.ww of their withdrawal.

Items should be returned in the same condition in which they were received, with all loot.ww tags attached. Customers may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and fit of the goods.

Unless the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied, customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning them, provided they were informed of this obligation before purchase.

An item's vintage, pre-owned or archival status does not by itself remove the statutory right of withdrawal. Any legal exception applies only where the relevant statutory conditions are met.

9. Returns and Refunds

When a customer validly exercises the right of withdrawal, loot.ww will refund the payments received for the returned goods, including the cost of standard outbound delivery where required by law.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise. Refunds will be issued within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Where permitted by law, loot.ww may withhold the refund until the goods have been received or the customer has provided evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

If an item is faulty, damaged or materially different from its description, the customer should contact hello@loot-ww.com with the order number and relevant photographs. loot.ww will handle the matter in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Further practical information is available in the Shipping & Returns and Refund Policy pages.

10. Legal Guarantees

Purchases made by consumers benefit from the mandatory legal guarantees applicable under French law, including:

  • The legal guarantee of conformity under Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.

  • The legal guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.

These guarantees apply independently of any optional commercial guarantee. The statutory rules applicable to second-hand goods apply where relevant.

Nothing in these Terms of Sale limits or excludes rights that cannot legally be waived by the customer.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

loot.ww cannot be held responsible for temporary website interruptions caused by maintenance, technical incidents or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, without prejudice to the customer's mandatory legal rights.

12. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Further information about the data collected, its purposes, retention and the customer's rights is available in the Privacy Policy.

13. Complaints, Consumer Mediation and Disputes

In the event of a dispute between the customer and Loot.ww, both parties shall endeavour to resolve the matter amicably. Customers should first submit a written complaint to loot.ww at hello@loot-ww.com.

If no amicable agreement is reached, or if loot.ww has not responded within one month, eligible consumers may refer the matter free of charge to the appointed consumer mediator, subject to the applicable legal conditions.

The appointed consumer mediator is:

La Société Médiation Professionnelle
Website: https://www.mediateur-consommation-smp.fr/
Alteritae
5 rue Salvaing
12000 Rodez

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections applicable in the customer's country of residence.
